Education is a priority in Green and the public schools have an outstanding reputation as well as extensive extracurricular activities. Green Schools receive high marks with the majority of the students moving on to colleges or technical schools. The University of Akron, a “world class” University is 15 minutes and the Kent State Stark campus offering over 400 classes is just 5 min from Green. Kent State University in Kent, Oh is an easy 30 minutes drive. To the south in Stark County there are three universities, Walsh, Malone and Mount Union and one of the largest technical colleges in Ohio, Stark State College. | |||
